Runners - Newcomers

I am currently a HNC student at Jewel and Esk College looking for any work in the industry, paid or non. I've been working as a camera operator, 300 hours plus on editing, sound operation and have helped with the production of three low budget short films called 'Double Exposure', 'Tartan Paint' and 'To Boldly Go'. I've made a number of documentaries over the last year on various festivals around Edinburgh and the third session of the parliament. I'm a hard worker, very easy to get along with, loyal and reliable. I cannot drive at the moment.

Full, clean UK driving licence. Completed Runners Course with Edinburgh Film Focus/Scottish Screen. Runner - "Flog It!" (BBC Bristol), Runner/Researcher - "Cash In the Attic" , " Farm of Fussy Eaters" (Leopard Films, London for BBC), Runner/Extra - "A Dying Breed" (Wild Frontier Productions, London), Background Artist - Next Tv Commercial (Plum Films), Various student and corporate films. BA (Hons) Film & Media Studies.

Runner Transmission with T-Mobile (At It Productions, 2007). Wardrobe asst/dresser Troilus and Cressida, King's Theatre (Edinburgh International Festival, 2006). Currently training at the School of Drama and Creative Industries at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Theatre experience but I'm new to film industry. I am extremely versatile and very willing to learn. I also have experience of hat making, dyeing, fabric distressing/manipulation, felt making, surface decoration including emroidery/beading/screenprinting, stand cutting and flat pattern cutting. Can drive.

Recently completed a HND in TV Operations and Productions at Aberdeen College covering all aspects of the industry. Credits- Camera-The Haunted Cludge/student film. I did BA Technical and Production Arts at the RSAMD, specialising in Electrics and Stage Management, and have been working in Glasgow's Tramway theatre as a freelance stage manager and lighting technician since graduating but am very keen to get involved in tv and film work as it has always interested me more than theatre. Any opportunities where I can use the skills I already have and learn new ones would be awesome!

Currently studying in Costume design and construction at Queen Margarets University. I'm looking to get work in film and TV and as much experience as possible, I'll work as a wardrobe assistant, runner or dresser. Previous experience mainly in theatre but have done a few days work experience on a low budget feature. Theatre credits include: The Tempest- Wardrobe supervisor at QMU. Dick Mcwhittington- Student Wardrobe Supervisor at "The Brunton theatre", 2003 and 2004 summer productions with the National Youth Theatre of Wales as Wardrobe assistant and Supervisor.

Operations & Production. Currently level 4 Film & Media undergrad. Full, clean UK drivers license. No stranger to leading and being part of a team under challenging circumstances; as a runner I want to build on my existing experience in film and TV production. Reliable, committed and flexible.

Availability limited (Tuesday / Saturday) while at uni. I have gained work experience from 'Most Haunted Live Halloween 2006' (Living TV - Antix Productions) and 'Lost Worlds: Jekyll and Hyde' (The History Channel USA - Atlantic Productions) so can provide excellent references as a result. I am willing to work for free and can travel as long as my travel expenses are covered or contributed to and as I have a student railcard I can get a third off rail travel or even cheaper if I'm made aware of the position early on. Full driver's license.

Recent credits; Runner for 'Transmission' with T-Moblie for 'At It' productions 2007. Currently studying Costume Design and Construction at Queen Margaret’s University, Edinburgh, I would love the opportunity to apply and learn new skills, and to gain experience within the film industry. Having previous theatre experience, I am confident in sewing, and have some knowledge of flat pattern and stand cutting, hair and make-up, dyeing and surface manipulation of fabric and clothing.

Film production student at Napier University / Screen Academy Scotland. Studied film for two years, working in development, research, production and post-production. Constantly looking for exciting projects and to learn more. Motivated, creative and hard-working I aim for the best in all my work. Currently full time student so holidays/weekends/evenings
