Historic Scotland is responsible for around 330 properties throughout Scotland, ranging from prehistoric dwellings to stone circles, from abbeys to cathedrals and castles to palaces. Historic Scotland has considerable experience working with film makers and can provide a range of historical sites as required. Film collaborations have included, "Hamlet", "Macbeth", "Rob Roy", "Ivanhoe" and the recent "Inspector Rebus" television series.
